Competition will be held February 20-23 at the Utah Olympic Oval. Test session is live! We are offering many levels for individual and dance testing. You can access the test site here! We will be welcoming judges from across the US to put on a top notch competition for you and your skater.

The High Altitude Challenge The ‘High Altitude Skating Challenge’ is a co-sanctioned event by the ‘Larry H. Miller Utah Summer Games’, a Southern Utah University outreach department that holds Utah’s official state games. As a member of the National Congress of State Games, any LHM USG-sanctioned event can grant bids to the ‘State Games of America’, a prestigious national competition held biennially. The High Altitude Challenge is a qualifying competition for the 2026 State Games of America Championships (SGA). Skaters placing first, second or third in an event at the High Altitude Skating Challenge qualify to compete at the State Games of America July 28 - August 2, 2026 State College, Pennsylvania. The SGA event serves as a national non-qualifying event for U.S. Figure Skating.
All ‘High Altitude Skating Challenge’ participants must sign all LHM USG waivers here prior to competition.

Salt Lake Figure Skating has obtained a group rate for athletes and coaches at both the Hampton Inn and Crystal Inn Hotel and Suites. The number of rooms available at the group rates are limited and available on a first-come basis. All are encouraged to book reservations as early as possible for best availability but no later than February 5, 2025.
